My Favorite AFFORDABLE Loungewear

When COVID first started, I was in New York on co-op wearing LOOKS on the daily living my best life in the city. With the introduction of lockdown and COVID I realized that while my street style side of the closet was something to be proud of, but my loungewear collection -aka my quarantine friendly collection- was severely lacking. That meant my hunt for attractive, trendy loungewear was on. But as a college student, I simply don't have the money to pay $130 for a sweatshirt and sweatpants. 7 months into lockdown, I am proud to say I've come up with a pretty damn good list of truly affordable places to find yourself some cute loungewear (and yes they will be acceptable to wear outside of your home).

My first favorite is definitely Target. Do not underestimate Target. My personal favorite brand at target is Joylab. I specifically buy their matching ribbed workout sets for the days I don't feel like being in an oversized set. I now have about 4 sets of these so that's just a testament to my lowkey obsession. BUT, these tend to sell out quickly so you gotta keep your eye on them or just turn your notifications on. Target also sells much more than these, so definitely take a browse on their website.

My second favorite for simple basic loungewear is Uniqlo. You can get a basic set for $29.90. I'm not lying. A sweatshirt and sweatpants for $29.90. I love these sets to wear and dress up with jewelry. They're super SUPER comfy and literally do not come close to breaking the bank. Uniqlo also sells some amazing sweatpants that come in ALLLL the colors. Definitely give them a browse.

My third favorite for the trendy loungewear is Nasty Gal. Nasty Gal almost always has a 60% off sale which is fantastic, and the variety is absolutely up there. You'll rarely see something with an obnoxious price tag and don't get too worried about the countdown in the sales section.

Now my final location is Amazon Fashion. I think Amazon Fashion is finally getting some recognition but I've been a frequent shopper for a while now. Definitely give them a look, but READ THE REVIEWS. And when I say that I mean, look at the stars in proportion to the number of reviews. Look at the worst reviews to see if there's anything of concern or if it's just a person being petty. My highest recommendation is to filter the order to average customer review so you see the items with the higher reviews. My personal favorite brand is CRZ Yoga. They're known for being a dupe of Lulu Lemon, I have A LOT of items from this brand, and let me tell you, that comparison is very well deserved. A few other brands I would recommend are Ewedoos, Heath Yoga, BTFBM, and Kikibell.
